Mods and liquid integration
A cabinet of this kind, characterized by the complete absence of rivets, is necessarily oriented to modding and to the integration of liquid cooling systems. In this case, we used two models of radiators particularly powerful and interesting, reviewed by our staff time ago: the model Phobya 280mm and 360 Slim model of AlphaCool. We will list are the various types of radiators and we try to see where it would be possible to mount them.
- 120mm radiators, slim and double thickness: given their small size, the all-in one liquid coolers can be located easily at the top, with an exhaust fan. With such a configuration, there would be no problem for the temperature, due to the excellent ventilation from below. Alternatively, they can be positioned above a 180mm fan, but we do not recommend this latter configuration.
- 240mm radiators, slim and double thickness: as we will see, in this case the only possible orientations are frontally, if you use aftermarket tubes, or above the two AP181s, if you use an all-in-one liquid cooling system.
- 360 (120 * 3) / 480 (120 * 4) radiators, slim and double thickness, in this case we can found only aftermarket solutions and therefore we can use them in the base. It is possible to mount them also in the front with some modifications.
- 560 (140 * 4) radiators, slim and double thickness: in this case it is still possible in the lower part but without a redundant power supply. It is one of the few cabinets that are compatible with 560 radiators and this is further evidence of his conception of "Non Plvs Vltra". A good candidate, for example, is the Hardware Labs Black ICE SR1 560 Radiator, that you can find here: http://www.hwlabs.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=65&Itemid=59
Concerning modding capabilities the TJ11 offers a lot, even if, due to the particular orientation, there is no possibility of adding side fans, unless you decide to use an ad-hoc plexiglass panel.
We want to show you some wonderful mods of this cabinet:
